This timeless Malbec aged in Taransaud Burgundy barrels has incredible depth and stature. A wine you can drink now or cellar.
The aromas of sweet French oak and espresso get more complex with every swirl of the glass, unveiling black plum, ripe raspberry, and violet aromas. The wine is full-bodied, dense, deep and chewy with flavors of black raspberry, plums, roasted herbs, and mint.
This beauty could be enjoyed now with a nice ribeye steak or leg of lamb since it shows incredible balance for such a concentrated wine.
Transparent and so clear with crushed berries, dark chocolate, walnuts and hazelnuts, as well as subtle wet earth. Medium to full body, beautiful fruit on the center palate and a fine, long and persistent finish. Drink now.James Suckling April 2020
A Malbec from old vines in Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo, that spent 12 months aging in one-third new and two-thirds used oak. Bright purple in the glass. The nose features candied plum and jam and hints of pepper and allspice, as well as tomato preserve, vanilla and herbs. Concentrated, substantial and well-balanced, with a light, slightly rustic feel enhanced by the active tannins, which also deepen the profile. Well made in a ripe style.Vinous October 2020
