Tech Details
Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from Rutherford and St. Helena and the Petit Verdot from Oakville. Low rainfall in early 2020. Early bud break and mild temperatures helped grow evenly developed clusters with concentrated, high quality berries. The summer was sunny with above average warmth. Early harvest. Slow, long maceration at lower temperatures. Aged for 24 months in 3 year old seasoned Seguin Moreau barrels. Racked 5 times over the course of aging, so the tight grain mellowed the abundant tannins which will allow this wine to age well into the middle of the century.
