A juicy wine loaded with spiced cherry and plum notes on the palate and rounded by creamy tannins. A pristine and easily drinkable daily wine.

Food Pairing

Ideal with soups, meat sauce pastas, cured meats, semi-mature cheeses and poultry.

Wine & Spirits

A juicy and direct Chianti Classico with spiced cherries and plums on the palate, rounded by fluffy, creamy tannins. A little short, but quite pristine and unassumingly drinkable. An easy but nice daily sip with food. James Suckling July 2022

The nose is warm with aromas of soil, old leather, crushed stone and herbs, but a blackberry undertone provides pop. On the palate, that blackberry element is underscored by flavors of black cherry and oranges, while chalky tannins, more soil and a crackle of black pepper maintain balance. Wine Enthusiast

Tech Details

Harvested from south-east facing vineyards in Castellina, Chianti. The grapes are picked during the second half of September to the first half of October. Clay & limestone soil. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged for12 months.
