Tasting Notes
Lively black garnet in color, intense notes of brambly berry fruits followed by green notes. Medium bodied on the palate with bright sour cherry and berry fruit. Clean finish.
Food Pairing
A very food friendly wine that pairs well with red-sauced pasta dishes, lasagna, grilled meats or light stews.
Tech Details
Harvested from south-east facing vineyards in Pontassieve and harvested between the months of September and October. The vineyards are certified organic.
Clay & limestone soil. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Malolactic is carried out in fiberglass-lined cement vats. Aged 12 month in 18hl French oak barrels and 3 months in bottle.
