A blend of Malbec from different appellations in Mendoza. Amorio, or 'Love Affair' represents the deep and enduring feelings the Argentine people have toward the Malbec grape.
Aromas of smoky oak and cherry. Mouthwatering, penetrating flavors of ripe red and black cherries, red berries. Quite rich and velvety on the palate, and finishes with just enough grip to make it a real winner with food. This is some seriously sexy Malbec.
Pairs well with grilled or smoked meats such as beef, pork, and lamb. Also complements dishes prepared with cheese or cream sauces.

A round, soft-textured red with plum and floral aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, creamy and juicy. I like the caressing texture.James Suckling April 2020
The bottling of the 2016 Amorío was a little earlier, so I also got to taste it. In this case, the wine comes from the same two vineyards in Paraje Altamira as the 2015. For the élevage, part of the wine spent 14 months in barriques and part spent 16 months in oak vats. It still shows the imprint from the élevage, and while it might be a bit early to pull the cork, the wine feels quite complete and with more depth. It has fine-grained tannins and a good finish.Wine Advocate June 2018
A Malbec from Paraje Altamira that spent 14 months in 70/30 French and American oak, respectively. The floral nose offers up violets over dark fruit and intense notes of country herbs. The primary flavors come out with the sugar as part of a loose, juicy and very fluid palate. Ends with a lengthy, refreshing aftertaste.Vinous October 2020
