Perdriel terroir and precision winemaking make this one of Argentina’s best Cabs.
Notes of cassis, red and black pepper, and spices. There are beautiful mineral notes and integrated oak characteristics such as vanilla, caramel, and smoke. The mature and soft tannins are round with a fresh acidity. Concentrated, balanced, and full-flavored, it displays both elegance and freshness.
Pairs well with grilled meats such as chicken, pork and beef. Try with sharp cheeses, wild mushrooms or grilled vegetables.
Strawberries and hints of currants with some almonds, following through to a medium body, silky tannins and a flavorful finish. Just a hint of new wood to make it interesting. Drink or hold.James Suckling April 2019
This impressive Cabernet Sauvignon comes from gravel soils in Perdriel and is a structured, traditional Primera Zona style with lots of concentration, an earthy, savoury palate, sinewy tannins and well-handled oak. 2020-2025Tim Atkin May 2019
Bright medium ruby. Very ripe aromas of blackberry and bitter chocolate are enlivened by an herbal element. Densely packed and penetrating, if a bit youthfully closed, offering classic Cabernet Sauvignon typicity and definition. Not a fat style but still shows more mid-palate texture--and a less pronounced pyrazine quality--than the 2016 version. Finishes juicy and firmly tannic, with excellent grip and length and a lingering note of coffee. As much French as Argentine in style.Vinous September 2019
